My BMX Life

My BMX life started in 6th grade
I started running a free agent racing bike with a 24” frame, although I didn’t do too many races I did a lot of downhill drifting going through tires every week or two weeks if I was lucky!
Later halfway through 7th grade, my dad and I drove to Huntington Beach and picked up a brand new FIT Conway 2 from Gabe Weed owner of Cheep goods BMX!
I had already got good at a few freestyle tricks on my free Agent like bunny hops and 180 half-cabs, I also quickly got really good at jumping stair sets!!
I landed my first 360 summer of 2016 and got it super clean later that year! That summer I learned many other tricks like pull up bar spins and reverts! About 8 months after having my Conway 2, I wanted to rebuild my wheels and saved up many months to buy the hubs I currently run (see “My BMX Bike”) and took about 3 weeks to figure out how to put my spokes in the right order!
I went to one of my first real competitions at the Skate House in Chatsworth and met Simone Barrco, sponsored by Shadow Conspiracy, and won first place rail, and third place box! This is when I got Simone’s custom grips! Some of my favorite grips and would recommend them to any freestyle bmx rider or freestyle scooter riders! I ride as much as I can every day and actively attend as many BMX related competitions and events; most recent being the TIP+ warehouse Jam in Longbeach!
